Swimming pool skimmers are responsible for removing surface debris from your swimming pool. They also provide a location to connect a manual or automatic swimming pool vacuum system.
The Hydro Plug is designed as an additional safety measure should your swimming pool ever be emptied of water. A simple valve, held down by the water pressure when full, allows subterranean water to enter the empty pool preventing it from floating or popping out of the ground during periods of rain.
Should you require your swimming pool to be emptied, it is advisable you contact your pool builder or pool professional to prevent damage to the pool or surrounds.
