Single Shot is a range of pre-dosed pool treatments from Lo-Chlor. Each little bottle is professionally dosed to treat a specific problem — evaporation, scale and metals, oils and scum, cloudy water or phosphates — in one simple, mess-free application.

One bottle. Every Single Shot product is pre-dosed to treat a standard pool in a single application — most 250ml bottles treat up to 60,000 litres. There's no measuring, mixing or guesswork required.

It depends on the product: Solar Shield, Miraclear Clarifier and Starver M are monthly maintenance treatments, Natural Cleanse is dosed weekly, and Aquaguard CSM is applied quarterly. Starver X30 is a one-dose fix for excessively high phosphate levels.

Yes. Single Shot products are suitable for all pool finishes and are compatible with chlorine, salt water and mineral pools. As with any chemical, always follow the label directions and never mix chemicals.

For best results, ensure your pool water is correctly balanced (pH, alkalinity and sanitiser within recommended ranges) before dosing. Balanced water helps each treatment work quickly and efficiently.

The range covers the most common pool water problems: water loss and heat loss (Solar Shield), scale and metal staining (Aquaguard CSM), oils, sunscreen and scum lines (Natural Cleanse), cloudy water (Miraclear Clarifier) and high phosphates causing algae (Starver M and Starver X30).

Starver M is a concentrated maintenance dose that removes around 2ppm of phosphates in a 60,000 litre pool — ideal for keeping levels low month to month. Starver X30 is a superior-strength 500ml dose that removes around 6ppm of phosphates in a 30,000 litre pool, for pools with excessively high phosphate readings.
